Yes — patient safety rules require sufficient Dutch. In practice most clinics expect around B2 before starting patient care. Some clinics allow an English start while you build up Dutch alongside.

For EU-trained dentists, RIZIV/INAMI or BIG registration typically takes a few months once your documents are complete. Non-EU pathways take longer and we'll be upfront about what's realistic in your case.
